HAIR &
MAKEUP





"Do I need to get my hair and make-up done professionally?"


While this isn’t a requirement, I highly recommend at least a professional make-up job (and some ladies are pros at doing their own make-up!). I can’t stress enough that a difference this makes, not only in your final images, but for your entire experience! Hair is easier to handle on your own, but who doesn’t enjoy not having to worry about anything?! If needed, I have some great recommendations, and we can even plan to have them come to your session location so everything is done together!

(Please note: this is only applicable if you haven't decided to have a natural session! I have clients who choose to show off their natural beauty, and that is great, too!)



"I'M
NERVOUS!"





"I've never done anything like this before. Is it normal to feel nervous?"


Okay, I know this isn't a question, but I hear it so much I had to include it! Most people I photograph have never done something like this before, so you’re definitely not alone in that! Of course, it is normal to feel nervous! I understand we all have things we wish were different about ourselves, or parts of us we don’t love, and part of this experience is letting go of all of that and realizing that you ARE beautiful, and (even if just for a little) learning to love yourself a little (or a lot!) more. I will do my best to make you feel comfortable in front of my camera. We'll just be hanging out, listening to music, sharing some laughs, and creating beautiful images!



"DO I HAVE TO
GET NAKED?!"





"What if I'm not comfortable being nude in front of the camera?"


I don't want you to do anything you’re not comfortable with! While I will offer guidance with posing, you’re in control of your session. Sessions progress from the most clothing to nothing/next to nothing (to your level of comfort). Usually, once my clients are comfortable, pushing those boundaries becomes easier. It’s up to you how much you show, and even though you may be wearing nothing, we can take tasteful photos with implied nudity (nude, but not actually showing anything). I always suggest pushing yourself outside of your comfort zone (whatever that may be), and I haven’t worked with anyone who wasn’t glad they did! Either way, don't stress! You don't have to decide until it's time!



"WHAT DO
I WEAR?"





"Do I need to bring my own clothing, or will it be provided for me?"


I do ask that you bring at least three options, to ensure you have options with the proper fit. As a bonus, I have gathered a collection of lingerie options ranging from size XS-3XL for my clients to use (in the process of being expanded!)!

Not sure what to wear? Spend some time looking at outfit inspirations (check out my Pinterest board for ideas!). There are plenty of options, from the most complete lingerie set, to a cozy sweater and knee socks, to your birthday suit! Don’t feel like you need to go crazy to look amazing, and at the same time remember- you are worth it! Treat yourself! I'm happy to offer guidance and suggestions for outfits!

"I’m interested in having photos taken with my special someone, is that a thing?"

Yes! It’s actually becoming more popular and can be a steamy, sexy, and loving way to express your feelings for one another. An intimate session with the two of you is a great way to celebrate your love, your attraction, or just to do something fun and sexy together! Whether the two of you want to casually lounge around in your PJs, or heat up the bedroom, a couple's session will surely be an unforgettable experience, made even better by having the images to look back on!

"Where will my session take place?"


That’s up to you! I’ve done sessions in client’s homes, hotels, outdoors and in studios. I want you to go with what makes you most comfortable, and I can help you make that decision to ensure we get amazing images!

If your home will not work, the right hotel can be a great option for a couple reasons- you don’t need to clean up, it’s easier to keep it a secret if needed, and it’s a build in night out! I also have a handful of different studios available for us to rent around Southern California. We can make the decision together, if you're unsure.

WILL MY IMAGES BE ON THE INTERNET?





I take your privacy very seriously, and will only share your images online (website, portfolio, blog, social media) if you give your approval. Many clients elect to have at least the anonymous images from their session shared, if not all of the images! It is not uncommon for clients to want their images kept off the internet for whatever reason, and that is okay, too. I will respect your decision, whichever option you choose.



WHAT PAYMENT OPTIONS DO I HAVE?





You have a few options with regards to making your payment(s). You can pay in full via cash, credit or debit and receive your order as soon as possible!

Pay via PayPal Credit! They offer 0% interest for 6 months. Pay off your investment right away and finance your balance. Read more or apply here.

This option gives you the flexibility of making payments of any amount whenever you like prior to your reveal session, and helps cut down your wait time to receive your goodies! I'M NOT A MODEL / I DON'T LIKE ____ ABOUT MYSELF / AND OTHER EXCUSES





Trust me when I say -- I get it. And my response to all of it (all the doubts, all the self image issues, all the insecurities) is... you are worth it. You are amazing just the way you are, right now.

The majority of people I photograph are not models, and had never done anything like this prior to being in front of my camera!


I'll take into consideration your concerns when I help you pose during your session, as well as use lighting and outfit choices to our advantage. I will guide you throughout your experience, just relax and don't stress! Whether you're a shy vixen, or a badass bitch, this is for you!



CAN I BRING SOMEONE WITH ME TO MY SESSION?





You're welcome to have someone (18+) join you while we prepare for your session, though once the camera comes out, anyone who is not going to be in front of it must find something to occupy their time until your session is over (unless, of course, they're there for your couple's session!).



YOU CAN PHOTOSHOP THAT, RIGHT?





Basic editing and retouching is included in your experience! I'll take care of things like acne, scars, stretch marks, cellulite, etc. I'm happy to adjust the editing to your preference, though I always try to ensure my images do not look "overdone" or "fake". I want to help you look and feel your best, whether that is done completely naturally, or with some editing support! We will go over any specific concerns you may have prior to your session.
